Vocal Ensemble
If you love to sing and would like to sing with others, Vocal Ensemble is a great outlet. We sing doo-wop, jazz, novelty/fun songs, as well as pop and broadway. This beginning chorus teaches you how to read chorus music and sing in 2, 3, eventually 4 part harmony. We make the rehearsals fun but still serious enough that we get lots of singing done. All music is purchased by the school and singing binders are supplied for use on the school grounds. Also, learning CDs with your voice part are passed out periodically so you can learn your harmony while you drive in your car, fold laundry, wash dishes, etc. When we all get together it quickly sounds like something. Many have chosen to join as a family with their teenagers or preteens so they can have a family activity in their weekly schedule. We can put each of you in a different section if you like so you'll have a list of songs you can sing at home together in 2,3,4 part harmony. Or sit right next to each other and learn the same part. Recommended for parents with children 12 years old and up.
(NOTE: Classes are offered based on commitment received and require a four-student minimum to be held.)
